Tom Tunstall is the latest rider to confirm his place on an expanding grid ahead of the start of the MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship, confirming a return to the Evo class with the Doodson Motorsport team for 2011.

Tunstall has previously been a BSB Cup contender and last season moved into the main class with the team, however for the forthcoming season he has confirmed his place in the Evo series as a new opportunity to show his potential. Tunstall is now focussed and eager to start the new challenge with continued backing from the specialist insurance company Doodson Broking Group - the Doodson Motorsport Team will continue to run under the familiar yellow colour scheme.


Tunstall said:

"Moving to the Evo class is a logical step for us, the championship is certainly stepping up a level in 2011. With riders who've scored podiums in the main class and top teams signed up, this increases not only the challenge but also the credibility of the class. I would like to thank Doodson for their continued commitment and I am determined to repay them with results. Our goal for 2011 is very clear and with only two weeks before our first test, we are working hard to give ourselves the best opportunity to accomplish them. With track time scheduled in both Spain and the UK we aim to be fully prepared and ready when the season kicks off at Easter."
