RE: Thursday Practice

Ah well, it's a late start to tonights activities due to a RTA out on the circuit, near Ginger Hall.

Sidecars will be first away tonight, with John Holden leading the pack.

Sidecars due away at 19:00 hrs with solos to go at 20:00 hrs.

And their away, with Klaffi following and ooops - Tim Reeves being held on the start line !!!!

Apparently the first two outfits away were not given permission to go, so the practice has been held again with John Holden and Klaffi having to make their way back to the paddock.

Apparently an ambulance is still out on the circuit.

Tim Reeves fires up and gets ready to go. --- What's happening now ??

This is becoming a bit of a joke. Starting Marshall holds Tim Reeves back, he switches the engine off.

Engine back on at 19:09 and he is off down Glencrutchery

Conrad Harrison and Tony Elmer take off.

Greg Lambert away

Gary Knight away

They are all followed by a long lengthy line of slideys on their way down towards St Ninians.

Klaffi and Holden will re-start from Glen Helen with times being adjusted accordingly.

Klaffi does a 146 through Sulby

Time Reeves does a 144

Conrad Harrison does a 144

John Holden does a 141

Klaffi and Holden are nip and tuck over the mountain.

Klaffi does a 113.2 average and clocked at 134 through the start/finish

John Holden does a 112.1 average and clocked at 130.4

Conrad Harrison goes through at 110.45

Tony Elmer through, Gary Bryan, Birchall boys and Roy Hanks all go through safely.

Tim Reeves completes a 95.4 lap and pulls in.

Kenny Howles and his new passenger Pete Alton come through safely.

Greg Lambert retired at the pits.

Keith Walters/Alun Thomas & Eckart Rossinger/Andy Kolloch involved in an accident at Brandywell.
Alun taken to hospital with minor back injuries, other three are ok.

John Holden completes his second lap with a 112 and he pulls in.

Klaffi does a 113 on his second lap.

Sidecar Session brought to a halt at 19:45.

Delayed start for the solos.

Oil on the track past at Kirk Michael.

Stationary Yellow to be shown at Brandywell.

Just been announced that tonights practice has been terminated due to the oil on the circuit out past Kirk MIchael. 20:10
