We're on Dunlops and these new tyres are not designed to run in the wet.

Mixed reports from the travelling marshalls. " It's Patchy after Ginger Hall, Patchy up through to the Water Works,
so what do you do, we want to put on a show, but safety has to be the priority.
I thought we had an agreement that we wouldn't race in the wet !!!!"

I'll go with whatever John says

Board says - Damp patches all round and flags will be shown where appropriate.

McGuinness doesn't want to put his lid on, ok, so he is putting it on now.
Amor looks unsure and looks across to McGuinness with a shake of the head.

McGuinness comes to the line looking very unhappy.

Glen Helen - Lap 2

A light drizzle starting to fall

First through on the road is Donald then Guy Martin then McGuinnes,
W Dunlop and M Dunlop close together then Dan Kneen with Bruce Anstey
Conor comes through after a gap. Lougher then comes through a fair way behind Conor.
Hillier and Ben Wylie come through very gingerly,
Then its Jim Hodson, a gap to Mark Buckley and Ian Mackman

Raining at various locations around the circuit with standing water at Glen Helen and the Gooseneck reported.

Prolonged stoppage (at least) projected due to large/heavy rain showers coming in from the West and it looks like that is going to be it for the rest of the day. (From the Met office)

Mark Parrett off at Laurel Bank with an ankle injury
