Michael Dunlop added yet another hat-trick to his growing portfolio this season as he claimed a stunning four-stroke clean sweep at Athea Road Races in County Limerick yesterday.

The meeting had been delayed due to a torrential downpour, but it didn't dampen the Street Sweep Racing pilot's thirst for victories.

The Ballymoney lad took both Open class Superbike races and the Supersport win, with Dungannon's John Burrows the only rider able to separate the Dunlop brothers on track during the meeting, such was their dominance.

Burrows was second in the opening Superbike encounter behind Michael, with William third.

William did get the better of Burrows in the Grand Final and also in the Supersport race, but could not topple his hard-charging brother all day. William's 100 per cent record in the two-stroke classes remains intact too.

Ian Morrell and Andy Farrell followed him home in the 250cc race, with cousin Sam Dunlop and Jeff Shaw second and third in the 125cc class.

Burrows did a get a victory in the Super Twins race with Mark Morgan and Keith Costello the 500cc and 350cc Classic winners.
