2012 YEC Racing Parts: An essential ingredient for success now available
[Image: yamaharacinghdr.jpg]

Notable achievements on circuits around the world have led to creation of a formidable set of 2012 YEC Racing Parts for Yamaha YZF-R1 and R6 motorcycles that are now available to order in Europe through the first of three distribution windows; the first deadline being November 30th for delivery by March 2012.

Yamaha’s YEC division is working closely with teams and riders racing their R1s and R6s at the highest level and uses their feedback and experience to forge an indispensible set of modifications to ensure optimum competitive performance. For those with the ambition to maximise the potential of their Yamaha ‘track tools’ then look no further.

The 2011 championships celebrated by the likes of Chaz Davies (FIM World Supersport with the R6), Jed Metcher (European Superstock 600 with the R6) and Tommy Hill (an exhilarating British Superbike Championship with the R1) proved once again that Yamaha’s R-Series and YEC Racing Parts are a successful combination.

The 2012 range consists of a wide choice of upgrades for engine and chassis for the latest R1 and R6 generation, while owners of previous R-Series models are also supported. Notable provisions for the R6 include the availability of a secondary funnel set and further improved ECU mappings. For the 2012 R1 a complete new ECU set and wire harness are available to allow full benefit of the new model’s traction control function. The front wheel assembly is modified to allow the traction control rotor sensor to be installed and a new repair set is also added to the range.

YEC Racing Parts are for closed-circuit use only and are sold through the official European Yamaha network. For further information on specifications and availability in Europe please contact a local Yamaha dealer or national Yamaha Distributor.
