Frenchman Freddy Foray will make his debut in the MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship this season as the former World Endurance champion and French Superbike Championship contender makes the switch to the UK. He will join PR Racing alongside Gary Mason as the team also announce Quattro Plant as their new title sponsor.

Foray won the 2010 World Endurance Championship with the SERT Suzuki team whilst simultaneously competing in the French Superbike Championship where he ended fourth overall in the standings including four podium after finishing third overall in the previous season. Foray also celebrated victory in the Bol d'Or and competed in the FIM Superstock 1000 Cup.

Foray said:

"Coming to the UK has been a goal of mine and I would like to thank Quattro Plant Kawasaki for this opportunity. It will be very exciting making my debut with the team and the Championship as the level of riders this year is very high and I think it is a good step for me. It will be a challenge, which I am looking forward to, so I am keen to get out on the Quattro Plant Kawasaki as soon as possible and learn the tracks as they are different to our tracks in France."

Development Director Julian Mosquera said.

"We are really excited to have a rider of Freddy's experience and talent, it is a real asset to the team, and I know he and Gary (Mason) will complement each other throughout the season. As a team, we have been working hard in the closed season with signing Gary and working on new sponsorship deals. This hard work has allowed us to attract the attention of a racer, such as Freddy. The superbikes are in the workshop being finishing and both the riders and bikes will be out on track over the next few weeks."

Team owner John Jameson concluded:

"In the current climate it is commendable that people like John Murphy from Quattro Plant show their passion for bike racing in this way, this is great news for PR Racing and the sport. We have been growing and developing as a BSB team for over ten years, so we know our association with Quattro Plant is a positive move in support of their commercial endeavours, and with that we can forge a winning partnership for many years to come."
