After a long wait shrouded in much secrecy Two Wheel Racing (TWR) is proud to announce its elevation to the premier Superbike class together with its commercial partners for the 2012 season.

Jenny Tinmouth and Crew Chief Steve Bradley are delighted to welcome new title sponsor Hardinge Machine Tools, and are proud to have the continued support from existing long term sponsors sorrymate.com as well as Isle of Man based Manx Glass and Glazing.

The team looks forward to the season ahead with great excitement as they prepare to take on their more experienced rivals as they move into the Superbike category taking in MCE British Superbike Championship events as well as the most revered motorcycle race on the planet, the Isle of Man TT races.

Piloting a Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade formerly run in the EVO class last year by Craig Fitzpatrick, and bought with the help of Manx Glass and Glazing, GB Racing, friends and family, Jenny can’t wait for the season ahead which will see her rub shoulders with World Championship race winners and TT specialists on circuits as diverse as Brands Hatch to the 37 miles Isle of Man TT mountain course.

Jenny and Steve have spent the winter months preparing her Superbike for the season ahead and have already completed several test days to further understand and develop the bike prior to the season opener at Brands Hatch.

A popular and accomplished figure in the British Championship paddock, Jenny progressed initially from the British 125GP series and more recently spent four years competing on a Honda CBR600RR in the British Supersport Championship.

Her finest achievements to date include being the current Isle of Man TT female lap record holder setting an average speed of 119.945mph, finishing third overall in the British Supersport Cup, being the first female ever to lead a British Championship race and becoming TTXGP UK Champion.

“Racing Superbikes at this level requires a committed title sponsor, for this reason I am really pleased to have the continued support of Sorrymate.com who have partnered me since 2008 to share the title sponsorship with new sponsors Hardinge Machine Tools. It is fantastic to have Hardinge on board and we feel we have teamed up with an organisation that has a great pedigree in engineering as well as a full understanding of how a motorsport team works, having been involved in sponsoring motorsport for many years. It is going to be a busy season so it is great we approach it knowing we are well supported; I’m really looking forward to it.” said Jenny Tinmouth

“We have a tradition of supporting motorsport in its many forms and indeed, many of our customers are component suppliers to motorsport organisations. The prospect of supporting Jenny and her team in the forthcoming season is very exciting. We are delighted to become a title sponsor for her British Superbike campaign this year.” explained Martin Doyle, UK Sales and Marketing Manager, Hardinge UK Ltd

The first round of this season’s British Superbike Championship takes place over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend of 6-9 April 2012 with live coverage of both races being broadcast on television by British Eurosport.
