Police are appealing for witnesses after a car was seen driving against the one way system on the TT Course last night.

The pickup style vehicle was seen in the area of Kate’s Cottage on the Mountain Road.

There were numerous other people using the road at the time and police would like to speak to a man and woman in a white Ford Fiesta who stopped at the time to talk to officers.

PC Mike Crompton of the Roads Policing Unit said the dangers of ignoring the one way system were all too evident and urged drivers to think of themselves and other road users before embarking on such journeys.
