A new National Championship is being launched in memory of Lee Vernon, put together by PMH Promotions on behalf of Auto 66. The Championship will be run over 8 rounds, all rounds to count.

The Championship will be run at:-

Cadwell Park, Ian Watson Spring National – Oliver’s Mount, Donington Park, Mallory Park, Southern 100 - Billown, Cock o’ the North – Oliver’s Mount, Steve Henshaw International Gold Cup – Oliver’s Mount and Stars of Darley.

Prize money will be paid at the majority of meetings to be set by the club running that particular meeting.

The Lee Vernon Trophy will be presented together with runner up and 3rd place awards at the end of the year.

The Championship is open to all Supertwin and Minitwins to TT specification. For 2013 any Minitwin or Supertwin can be entered but will only gain Championship points if up to TT specification.

This is a great way to remember a great rider, who rode well at Oliver’s Mount taking his first major win there in 2011.

Rounding off the series will be the ‘Stars of Darley’ Meeting at Darley Moor, which was Lee’s local circuit.
