The annual Ian Watson Spring National Cup meeting takes place on Sunday 21st April on the parkland Circuit in Scarborough on the Yorkshire coast.

The meeting will consist of 15 races catering for machines from 125cc up to Superbike's plus the popular Formula 2 Sidecars.

Practice commences at 9.00am on the morning of the 21st with the first race scheduled for 12.30pm.

The bikers’ village campsite, adjacent to the circuit, will be in full swing on Saturday night with a disco and late bar, this is open to race day ticket holders only, who can purchase tickets at the main spectator entrance from 2.00pm on Saturday 20th.

Admission for adults is £20 with accompanied children 15 years and under free, camping is available at £10 per pitch per night for a tent or £15 for a motor-home or caravan. This facility is open only to race day ticket holders.

With over 100 machines entered the club will be under pressure with a very strict time table.

Leading the solo entries is Guy Martin who, no doubt, will come under pressure from Ian Lougher and one of the up and coming stars, who the club have concentrated on encouraging to take up the sport more seriously, Dean Harrison is just one of those riders, James Cowton, now riding for the Ryan Farquhar team, will be one of the riders to watch in the Supertwin race along with his two team mates Jamie Hamilton and Connor Behan. Other young riders are Jamie Coward, Daniel Frear, plus regulars Mike Minns, Ross Johnson, Phil Harvey, Michael Pearson and Davy Morgan, Keith Pringle will be having another outing on the 1000cc BMW and the new 650cc Supertwin Kawasaki.

TT Superstar Dave Molyneux heads the sidecar entry, where he will come up against Conrad Harrison. Ian Bell and Tony Thirkell.
