Jenny Tinmouth eyeing home round improvement
[Image: bsblogo.jpg]

Jenny Tinmouth is hoping that the hard work put in since Thruxton by the Two Wheel Racing team will push her forward at her home round of the MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship at Oulton Park next weekend (4/5/6 May).

Tinmouth is yet to score a point this season but is aiming for some further progress at Oulton Park as she aims to build on her best result of 18th at Thruxton. The Two Wheel Racing team continue to work on improvements following the opening two rounds as they bid to regain valuable track time they lost during pre-season testing.

"The season has been going ok so far. We are not where we want to be yet, but considering the lack of pre-season testing we had due to constraints at the time, we are satisfied with the development. We've have a lot to catch up on and unfortunately we are having to do this at the beginning of the season, which has been a bit frustrating, but we're really keen to do well so we're just knuckling down and getting on with what needs doing. The dry track time we managed to get on race day at Thruxton was the first pure dry, warm time we've had on circuit this year and it allowed us to collect valuable data and to make some significant improvements to our bike for the next round.

"Oulton Park is a significant round for us being our home race as we are based just 20 miles from the circuit. It's still one of my favourite tracks; extremely challenging for riders and one of the hardest tracks we go to physically but it is great fun to ride and very rewarding when you get it right."
