This Saturday, the famous Skerries 100 in County Dublin kicks off a week-long feast of pure road racing.

The Southern 100 on the Isle of Man will then offer up the mid-week action [Monday 8th – Thursday 11th July] before Walderstown closes out an exciting week with their 40th Anniversary event between the hedges in County Westmeath.

Michael Dunlop, who was at Stormont this week for a reception with Sports Minister Carál Ní Chuilín to mark his achievements at the Isle of Man TT and brother William will be the star attraction at Skerries this weekend on their stable of MD Racing Hondas and CD Racing/Milwaukee Yamahas respectively.

William is also expected to campaign the Delaney RS125 Honda in the 'tiddlers' class and his brother Michael's 250GP Honda in the quarter litre events.

When the action reaches the Billown Circuit on the Isle of Man on Monday, Dunlop junior [Michael] will be out to defend his Solo Championship crown, but with William opting to leave his Milwaukee Yamaha Superbike at the team workshop.

Roads close on Friday for Skerries practice from 3pm and re-open at 9pm. A full race programme is scheduled on Saturday from 10am. Roads will close at 9am sharp.

Coverage from the Southern 100 will be live on the Manx Radio FM and those with iPhone and Android devices can download the app.
