Michael and William Dunlop both win two races at Armoy

Michael and William Dunlop starred at Saturday's Armoy meeting with both winning two races.

Michael won the two Superbike events, taking the the Open race and then setting a new course lap record of 106.80mph in winning the feature race.

His was second in the Supersport 600 behind older brother William, who also won the 250 race.

Jamie Hamilton pipped Jeremy McWilliams in the Supertwins and Christian Elkin won the 125 race.

Englishman Guy Martin led the Open race for the first two laps but had to settle for second behind Ballymoney rider Michael Dunlop.

Michael, who clinched a treble at Armoy last year, came in ahead of brother William in the feature Race of Legends event with Derek Shiels completing the podium.

Martin was also an early leader in the Supersport 600 but was passed by the Dunlops with William securing victory.

Hamilton edged out KMR Kawasaki team-mate McWilliams by eight hundredths of a second in the Supertwins.

Former Grand Prix rider McWilliams was making his national road race debut at the County Antrim course.

Elkin, a former British 125 champion, won the class with Sam Dunlop second and Sam Wilson third.
