I am aware people like me have asked questions like this before, but for me attending the TT Classic (if that what the August event is really called?) is a thrill of a lifetime. Coming as I do from the land down under (Oz) this is most definitely a ‘bucket list’ experience and I am keen to learn as much as possible.

So . . . I will be on the island (on a bike) between 21/8 and 29/8 and any hints, ideas, advice, inside information or information about viewing points or things to do would be appreciated. For example, what are the ‘must do’ or ‘forget it’ things to do/don’t do. Most importantly, where are the good watering holes and what brew should I order.
