TWR Honda's Jenny Tinmouth has been the latest MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship contender to begin pre-season testing as she headed out on track at her home circuit of Oulton Park ahead of the opening round of the season at Brands Hatch.

Tinmouth had her strongest campaign to date last season when she made history by becoming the first female rider to score points in a MCE BSB race and now she is looking ahead to the Easter opening round at Brands Hatch after her initial test.

Tinmouth said:

"It was good to test yesterday as we just wanted to get out and blow the winter cobwebs off. We had a rebuilt motor that we wanted to run in, which we were able to do and then also a new swingarm to test so we had plenty to start with! I just wanted to get some laps under our belt really before the next test and then of course the first races at Brands Hatch!"
