The capacity of the Noble’s Park ‘fanzone’ at the Grandstand for this year’s TT Races is to be doubled as the original 212 tickets have sold out on each of the four race days.

The other fanzone grandstands at Creg-ny-Baa and Ballacrye are also selling fast with both reporting limited availability on the four race days, according to TT organisers.

The main Glencrutchery Road Grandstand, adjacent to the start finish line, sold all available race day seats just days after going on sale last November.

The three fanzone locations have been selected as they offer a variety of viewpoints.

The fanzones offer free WiFi, allowing fans to follow live timing and TT social media channels in real time via portable handsets and computers, as well as a PA system playing live radio race commentary. The Creg-ny-Baa site will also feature a giant LED display for the first time showing a live leader board for all sectors during each race.

The fanzones open on Thursday, May 30, for the final two qualifying sessions with tickets priced at £5. Tickets for any of the four race days are £25.

To reserve VIP hospitality or grandstand tickets, fans should visit http://www.iomtt.com or telephone Regency Travel on 694456 or Duke Marketing on 640000.
