TT fun heading around island
[Image: ttmonsterlogobig.jpg]

The new mobile entertainment at the centre of this year’s TT attractions will visit Peel, Ramsey and Port Erin;
before returning to Douglas later in Race Week.

TT Mayhem will be a free show featuring a Moto Trials display by Fred Crosset, music, giveaways, audience participation and the stunt team with the famous globe of death.

A spokesman for the Department of Economic Development said the idea was to distribute the TT entertainment across the island rather than concentrating it on Douglas seafront. This is to reflect the greater distribution of visitors across the island during the festival.

The TT Mayhem entertainment will be held over seven nights, from Saturday May 31 to Friday June 6.

First show on the itinerary is 6-8pm on Saturday May 31 in the Villa Marina gardens. The following day, it moves to Peel to form part of the Peel TT day. Next is Monday, June 2, which sees the show in Port Erin to coincide with Port Erin TT day. Final tour date is Tuesday, June 3, in Ramsey for two performances at 2pm and 3.30pm.

For the remainer of TT – Wednesday to Friday – the show is back in Douglas, this time in Noble’s Park for twice-daily shows at 11.30am and 4pm.

New in the Villa Marina gardens this year is a live music stage for local bands and live interviews with riders on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of Race Week. Friday will also see the PokerStars-sponsored TT closing party and fireworks display.

Douglas promenade will again host the TT funfair from Thursday, May 29, to Sunday, June 8.

Making a welcome return to the TT this year will be the Red Arrows display team on Tuesday, June 3, at the Ramsey Sprint at 3pm then again over Douglas Bay at 7.30pm

Laxey Motorcycle Show, organised by the Moddey Dhoo bike club, will feature in the itinerary. Ramsey sprint will take place in Mooragh park, and there will be 13 nights of live bands and street entertainment dotted around the island.
