Hizzy
I don't know if I have the right to call him Hizzy. I only met him once, but I thought he was great. He came to the shop where i bought my bike. I'm only 17, so his TT wins were mostly before i gained much of an interest, but he signed posters for everyone who wanted one. Not like other famous sportsmen/women, who spend 5 mins with the fans, then leave. I came away from that day believing he was a genuinely nice guy and a fantastic racer. He will never be forgotten.

Re: Hizzy
Simply gutted.

The brave may not live long, but the cowardly do not live at all.

Re: Hizzy
How much our lives have been enriched by the short but full lives of so many brave guys who died younger than we would have wished.
Mez, Phil Hogg, Joey, SMBH, Jock, DJ, Peter J, Tom Herron and so many others. They did the things we couldn't or daren't and then they left us.
Life is for living, and sometimes the dice falls the wrong way, but a life with no chances taken would be a life wasted. Those guys never wasted a minute.
