This road will be closed tomorrow, not because of snow (which was the case when this photo was taken)
but for preparations ahead of the TT

The Mountain Road will close at 09.30 am  on Friday, (29th May),  to enable preparation work to take place ahead of the TT Races.

When the road reopens at 16.30 pm on Friday it will be one-way for the duration of the festival.

The Mountain Road will close again at 09.30 am on Monday, June 15, and when it re-opens at 16.30 pm that day it will revert to two-way traffic.
