The prestigious Suzuki Eight Hour race will feature several of the leading MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship contenders later this month as triple champion Ryuichi Kiyonari adds his name to the growing list.

Kiyonari has been victorious at the annual event on four separate occasions and he has just been announced as joining Team Kagayama alongside former MotoGP and World Superbike riders Yukio Kagayama and Noriyuki Haga.

Kiyonari joins fellow MCE BSB riders Broc Parkes, Josh Waters and Jason O'Halloran already confirmed for the prestigious event.

Kiyonari said:

"I am happy that Yukio-san Kagayama asked me to join him and that Stuart and Steve allowed me to do it. I missed Suzuka last year, and this is my first time to ride the Suzuki GSX-R1000, but I will have two great seniors on my side to win this race. I look forward to meet my Japanese fans, and hope they will support me like they did in the past years."
