Saturday will then be another largely dry day with good sunny intervals again, although one or two scattered showers are possible, these most likely around the middle of the day. Still quite breezy initially with fresh southerly winds in places, but during the afternoon and evening winds will become lighter. Maximum temperature 18 or 19 Celsius.

A few damp patches around the circuit, otherwise all looks good.

Ryan Farquhar clocks a 174 at Sulby on the Harris Yamaha
Peter Hickman clocks a 172.

Looks like Bruce has woken up this morning as reports are that he is "flying" on this lap.

There will now be a 15 minute delay to the start of the 500cc TT Classic Race.
Due to Oil spill cleanup operations, Stella Maris to the Waterworks and another from the  Nook to the Start Line

New Projected Start of 14:45hrs

Generally good out there, with a few damp patches.

Bud Jackson managed to get a lap in earlier today and starts the race.

McGuinness leads away down Glencrutchery

Rutter next and then Michael Dunlop, next is Olie Linsdell, then Dan Cooper, Now it is William Dunlop, No one at 6, next is Danny Webb, then Ryan Farquhar. Lougher goes off, Dean Harrison away, Lee Johnston is away after he stalled the MV on the way to the line., Keith Amor is next, then Alan Oversby.

Glen Helen  Lap 1

McGuinness through first on the road, and a gap to Rutter. Next is Michael Dunlop closing on Rutter. Now comes Dan Cooper and Olie Linsdell together. Now it is Ryan Farquhar making up time, Danny Webb goes through. Oversby and Amor run through together.

.Injured Riders

Newcomer Sjak Van Dijk from Holland was taken to Nobles Hospital by airmed with a suspected arm fracture after an accident at Sarah’s Cottage.  

Chris Dowling was reported to have fractures after an accident at Sulby Bridge and was taken by airmed to Nobles Hospital for treatment.

Taking only into account what I would call "proper" Manx Grand Prix competitors, I reckon Jamie Coward won that, with everyone behind him 


moving up three places. Excellent ride, Jamie!!
