TYCO BMW AIMING TO END BSB SEASON ON A HIGH

Today kick-starts the final weekend of the 2016 British Superbike season, with Tyco BMW looking to end the campaign on a high in both the BSB and Superstock 1000cc classes.

Michael Laverty currently leads the British Superbike Championship Riders’ Cup going into the final three races of the season, and despite some up-and-down results of late, the Presteigne based Ulsterman will be hoping for some podium action aboard his TAS Racing prepared S1000RR Tyco BMW.

Michael Laverty:

“The final round is upon us. It only seems like yesterday when we arrived at Brands Hatch fresh off the back of a race winner in the summer. We have struggled to replicate that form of late, but we did make inroads during the last round at Assen. It would great to round out what has been an up and down season by standing on the podium this weekend. I shall be trying my damndest!”

Christian Iddon is also hoping to end his debut season with Tyco BMW with some top results in the British Superbike Championship, and National Superstock 1000cc riders Ian Hutchinson and Josh Elliott will be hungry to add to their win tally this season.

The opening British Superbike Free Practice session gets underway this morning at 10.15am, with the National 1000cc Superstock class on track today for the first time at 11.45am.
