It looks as though the reasoning for 4 lappers has now moved from being a safety measure alone to being caused by the removal of the morning practice. BUT if we put up with further changes then 6 lappers may be re introduced.

The astonishing thing is that the extra two laps will only take 40 minutes,
and this is being held up as the reason for this that and the other.
It would simplify things if they just came out and admitted that they made
a colossal miscalculation in reducing the TT to 4 laps.
Don't blame the practice, or the safety,or anyone else, just get on with life
and fix it now for 2004 or I fear there is going to be a huge falling off in visitor numbers this year.
We could do without a lap of honour but don't reduce the TT to a 4 lap sprint.
