Enjoyed reading this - a bit more informative than the odd plug for sponsors that we usually get.

I watched a great deal of Phil McCallen's TT career and on the whole I was usually surprised when he left the island in one piece but in retrospect I think he was probably a good deal more talented than I gave him credit for (and he was very lucky to walk away from a couple of the spills he had). I read his biography a few years ago and I thought it was excellent.

Just leaves me thinking how I wish more of those like him were still with us TBH.
