TT Riders Association announce new day and date for the Annual Luncheon

The TT Riders Association would like to announce the new day and date for the Annual TTRA Luncheon.

For the past 65 years it has been tradition to hold the Luncheon on a Wednesday. This year, November 23rd 2019 is bringing a change of date to a Saturday but everything is exactly the same.

The pre-lunch AGM, the time to be seated for the unusual and exciting entrance of the new President and of course our great Fundraising Auction officiated by Bonhams of London.

Many of you will recall the lunch being held at the Connaught Rooms in London, in those days it was men only, but of course things have all changed now and to add to this phenomenon we have our very first Madam President Maria Costello MBE who has certainly added interest to the role she holds.

In this year's TT races with her racing career she has embarked on racing with a new female partner Julie Canipa who is a very competent and an experienced Sidecar partner and Maria will also be in the Solo Races. We sincerely wish them both a good and safe racing with great results.

The availability for tickets for the Lunch stays the same and application forms will come with the members newsletter. This year we are making invitations open to all who are keen on our sport as this Annual Luncheon is known as one of the largest gatherings of likeminded people on the Annual Calendar and is held in the most appropriate National Motorcycle Museum at Solihull, West Midlands.

Prices Non-members 4 course dinner, tea/coffee £39.50 per head and a great full action day from 11-30am to 5pm.

Life Members TT Riders Association and Friends of the TTRA is £37.50 per head.

The application form for non - members is available HERE or alternatively email francesthorp@manx.net

We look forward to seeing you Saturday 23rd November 2019.

You might like to make a note in your diary and make it a couple of days break away. There is the last day of the motorcycle live show on the Sunday at the NEC. There is the National Motorcycle Museum to spend a few hours browsing, and also, the Birmingham Tattoo on the Sunday afternoon in the arena which is a fantastic event.

If you bring your lady, Solihull, Birmingham and Coventry are great places full of historic sites and shopping as it is getting close to Christmas, plenty of exciting things to visit.
