Re: BOAT FARES?
I cant believe we put up with this!
Simply because we are dedicated supporters, we are forced to tolerate extortionate prices AND aggro!
It amazes me just how many people report that they have bad experiences either at the UK port of departure, in Douglas, or en route.
This year, I was told at Liverpool that my car and trailer MUST be weighed.
To achieve this, I would have to go over a ramp that was clearly higher than my car clearance!
I had to refuse(its a company car, apart from anything else) and got into a terrible arguement.
After admitting that my whole "rig" could not possibly wiehg as much as the limit, they let me on without being wieghed!
What a great way to start your annual holiday?!
I feel a combination of frustration, anger and helplessness.
Each year, I get further in debt because of this annual rip-off.
Yes, I know I dont have to go!
But surely this is not the answer?

Are you reading this David Cretney?

Sorry to rant at you chaps and chapesses.
I know I am preaching to the converted, but I have to vent my feelings.

Before you ask, yes, I have paid the deposit for next year.
I will say one thing. The guy that I rent the cottage from has given me a good deal for next year which helps.

Re: BOAT FARES?
I know exactly how you feel Mike but i decided that the TT is a rip off and now attend the Southern and the MGP, like you i am not a rich man but there is a limit as to how far you can be pushed? Do you ever consider Irish Road Racing as a substitute because i find it great value and with the euro the pound goes a little bit further.
