The Dick-waving Govt Marketing Goons various are aggressively obsessed with "their" TT logo, sales and image ... they would do far far better sharing the profit with a local company who can actually produce quality items at a realistic price whilst also selling online......how so little business diligence was applied by said goons in such an important business scenario with such a huge market is beyond my comprehension.

Me neither. I've been to the island about 40 times now and for the first time this year I didn't buy a t-shirt. Let's hope the next contractor does better.

I now design my own T-shirts and have them printed in a shop.

Cheers

In my opinion, the quality of the previous supplier's T shirts had gone down in recent years - but the designs had always been varied and generally good

This year's offerings looked much better quality, but the designs, for me, were uninspiring

As regards price, a £15 T shirt ten years ago would cost £20 today due to inflation, when I was at Brands Hatch for BSB this year, there was very little under £25 and some wanting £35-£40 for T shirts

Personally, I'm happy to pay £25 for quality T shirts with designs I find appealing

I thought this year's t shirts are very poor. The material was a very thin and didn't look like it would stand meny washes. A friend asked me to get them hoodie and sent me the pic from there on line catalogue . When I showed them the pic in the official shop behind the grandstand I was told we didn't make that one in the end but we made this one that looks a bit like it . Not great service.
To me it sounds like the government trying to fix something that wasn't broken and trying to make a fast buck. I'm sure there was brown envelopes involved . Ultimately they cost the government money. Serve them self's right. But unfortunately shops and individuals will be out of pocket. But the goons who instagated this will not be held to account.
