The New "Canadian TT"
Well, living as I do overseas, I now know that I will not make it for TT 2006.

However, I have stuck my neck out and have now committed to attend the inaugual Canadian TT, to be held at the Festival of Speed, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia in September 2006.

I hear that The IOM Minister for Sport and the Manx MMC, together with some top riders are acting as advisors.

Should be good fun and I hope that the event is well supported from this side of the pond.

Getting There
I would love to attend but I have been told that it takes that bit longer to get there and back by the McQuarie Line Steam Packet..........

How many changes of 'plane do we have to use ?

Have you got a job as an advisor then?

Well, I'm lucky as I will be able to combine the visit with business.
I can find an excuse (reason) to visit companies in Toronto and Montreal. That will contribute much to the expenses.
I will take my wife, using accrude air miles and take in the Niagura Falls.
We will stay in Sydney, Nova Scotia, from 18th to 25th September.
If my wife is lucky, we may "be forced" to call in to Florida on business and have to take an extra case for the shopping.

I am in no way "advising' on the races as I have no such qualifications but I may be able to respond if there is a call for marshals (if my dodgy ankle is better).
