Whats the easy way to Liverpool docks from the south?
I have been to the IOM lots of times for TT or MGP or just a holiday. Heysham docks is easy to find but Liverpool is another matter.

Is there an easy route? Is it easier coming off the M62 or M53?

Thanks alot Joe.

up the m6, onto the m62, follow it to the dual carriageway, carry on, follow the signs for the albert dock, turn right at the liver building and you're there. straight road, dead easy. providing you're catching the seacat. ferry is a bit further up the docks, but just as easy.

Joe,

I'm away from home this weekend but I will be back in Warrington on Monday. I will send you a detailed route map, just let me know your email address in a private message.

I live nearby and if i was travelling to l'pool from the south i would leave the m6 at J 16 and follow the A51 through Nantwich then to the M53 and then 15 miles to the Mersey Tunnel which is free for bikes, and also its a more scenic route traveling time from J 16 aprox 90 mins good luck.
