Are there any plans afoot to have Pat Hennen attend TT 2007 ??

i am all for that Ian but who pays the air fare etc? could be complicated who attends 2007 because the list is endless and who decides who is who.

He's American, he has a TT history of a lap record and he survived a horrific TT crash....

I agree pykey, that the list could be long and expensive but he, for one, must qualify as being a famous contributor to the TT story, and therefore deserves some kind of assistance to return to the Island..

It was just a suggestion, but the TT was more world recognised in those days, compared with now.

I agree Ian there was no bigger Pat Hennen fan than myself and surely but for his crash he could have probably gone on to win the world championshp? in fact a picture of Pat hangs proudly on my wall but what i was getting at were do you draw the line and who pays?

I believe that the IOM are trying to get ex-riders from all over the world to attend next year....

Surely the invited ones don't have to pay their own expenses !!!

Ok Ian i hope they invite Pat over like they did after his accident because he was really special around the TT.
