Dreadful news from sidecar world
I have taken this from Steve's Place website, in case anyone has not seen it there. Dreadful loss of a young, talented, very popular member of the sidecar community. a sad weekend.

"It is with regret I inform you Ben Beckworth has died as a result of a road accident Saturday evening, near Leeds.

Funeral arrangements later

Coachbuilder by trade, and from a racing family, 22 year old Ben started racing in 2000 as a passenger and the progressed to driver in 2003 working his way up the rankings of the ACU/FSRA F2 Championship over the last 3 years.

Ben was particularly pleased with the results he achieved at the Southern 100 last year finishing a respectable 5th & 6th places.

I will always be remember Ben for his cheerful smile, whatever misfortune was thrown at him both mechanically and on the racetrack,

Sincere condolences to all the Beckworth Family on your sad loss from all at the FSRA

Anyone wishing to send cards & condolences to the family can contact me for the address.
