I was going to ask how the house-hunting had gone. It would appear that it went well! Best wishes

I suppose you know what you are doing!

Seriously Helen, I wish you every success in this new life.

During our recent visit a couple of weeks ago, I saw two things
Firstly, I know that I would feel cut off from the rest of the world and
am too gregarious to cope with that.
But the second thing was a reminder of the peace and tranquility of
the Island. A truly spiritual place.
With friends like Fitz and other local reprobates, you will be ok.

So heres looking at you Kid!
A far braver person than me!
But then I wouldnt passenger a sidecar outfit.!
Good luck Hen.

Good grief, man...what world? Living across here, I feel cut off from the REAL world!
Seriously, I grew up in a very isolated and "insular" community, and have always been an island person. I like the idea of knowing "where the edges are".
It's the friends, and the friendliness I like about the place, too. My Friday and Saturday nights are booked...I'm reasonably free through the week! Oh...and my holidays.
Well, I will be going away for my holidays, at TT time...to Douglas.

Great Helen as you will be in Castleown you might like to join the EFC supporters club see Gail and David and they will sort you out with a membership and they run trips every home game.

Just remember not to try to buy grog in the supermarket on Sunday morning as they were not allowed to sell it last time I was there.
Apart from that and the food and the weather it is not a bad place twice a year!!!!
And watch out for itenerant bit part actors looking for free lunches in Castletown.
Rest in Peace Don Simons 1942 - 2012
