The Boss
"The Boss " as he's constantly referred to in our house , will always be in our hearts .I was lucky enough to be born and raised in Skerries and and inhereted my dads love for road racing, and after witnessing Joeys exploits at home,my dad decided to re aquaint his love for the TT , I was brought along in '74 for the first time and since wittnessed many of joey's wins,up to and including his last legendary F1 win. In all this time I always found Joey the most approachable amazing man iv'e ever come in contact with . No airs or graces,.. just joey , but when he was on the bike it was poetry .Apart from his ability on two wheels ,his humanity, compassion and composure will forever endear him to the people who watched , heard and will hear of his now legendary status .
The world will be a poorer place without him in it,if anything we could all try to be a little more "joey" than joe bloggs.

Nice one Myles...and I thought Ann was 'The Boss' in your house! Lol

For me, it was a sunny day that first saturday in July 1980 when I wittnessed 'Yer Man' along with Conor McGinn racing around the Milverton circuit having only previously seen him racing at Mondello Park. Like many other fans worldwide, from that day on I knew I was seeing someone special - a certain rider who looked even slower than some of the others but yet was leading by the proverbial 'country mile', such was his smooth style and ever since always enjoyed and followed his progress - a true Champion

Would the Irish TTSC like to organise a fund raising event for the Joey Dunlop Foundation , we need the support of Joey fans world wide to ensure that sufficient funds are in place to start the construction of Joey's holiday home
