Witch upgrades for Centenary
The witch has just taken delivery of a very fast bright red Oreck. This upgrade from her previous rather old fashioned transport is reputed to be able to "suck rabbits from hedges".
Lap times should be more in line with modern standards, and the TT will be cleaned up.
The new team colours and performance standards will be revealed soon in Castletown.

oreck
I was puzzled by the name oreck. not strictly being a housewife.

On "yahoo" there are a number of definitions when I punch in oreck, from sports planes to, er,vacuum cleaners...

have you got your PPL HELEN?

Alas, poor Oreck! I knew him Colin, a fellow of infinite jest, of most excellent fancy.

Please: only if it is an imitation of the Freddy Mercury video "I want to break free" - with the witch as Freddy, cargo as Brian May..... Tongue

Oh, now I'm hurt... I don't look like Freddy M... come to that, Cargo doesn't look like Mr May, although he does have extreme hair!

It was more the mini-skirt and fishnet stockings - not the moustache - that I was thinking of! Tongue

Oh, yes... the latest thing in witch transport. American, I'm afraid, but lightweight, fast, and when I'm not flying it, I can vacuum the place with it... the broom's out in the bucket!

Helen it appears that Mr Oreck is something of a flyer so there may be some truth in the flying abilities of your machine

I'm out of the huff now. I do hope the ACU approve of my new modernised transport, specially acquired for the Centenary TT celebrations. We must all enter into the spirit of modernity. No more of these old-fashioned brooms, 2-strokes and wee bikes. OK? brmmm brmmm brmmm (4-stroke sound effect...)
