Will we have to have number plates/identification on Knives next.....??

"In the hand of a surgeon the knife can cure, in the hands of a nutter it can kill".

Same sort of situation if they start the application to bikes, cars etc.

Believe it or not, I just read through the most of that parliamentary dialogue on this bill and the only sensible entry I read was Gwyneth Dunwoody's remark at the close of play suggesting everyone had raved on for some considerable time on the issues of a private members bill which could and should be discussed at committee and that some sort of closure should be brought to the discussion.

Knowing of her style, I read that as her effectively asking the deputy speaker to shut them all to feck up!!! Lol Lol Lol

I really dont think this bill in its present form will see the implementation tho...it will eventually be tailored to suit the area of concern and not is as feared, the whole scope of motorcycles....either that or we're all doomed as a society, never mind a biking community if thats the way this country is governed :?

We can't just hope for the best, though, especially if our main ally is Gwyneth (good grief, I never thought I'd see the day...)
Write to your MP now, and point out the complete daftness of this proposal.
