Sorry Marco - you have a slight problem!!

Highest number in the 1948 Senior TT was No 70.

The Lightweight was run alongside the Senior, with numbers starting at 71 - no 92 there was Jock McCredie on a 250 Excelsior Manxman.

The Junior TT had a No 92 - David Whitworth on a Velocette KTT.

Nice to hear from you again - is this any help??

Smile

My records say McRedie on an Excelsior but it was the lightweight version...

Larry, many thanks for your reply. I knew you was the right man to obtain the answer from:-).
Of course you're right. It was McCredie. There is a shot (that I do not have here) that portrays Omobono Tenni while overtaking the no.92 during the Senior TT (I think the shot was taken on the straight after Quarter Bridge and before Braddan). Now I know it was McCredie, thanks.
