Latest from Shaun
Here is a text I received just now from Shaun. He asked me to let you all know:

"My doctor is happy with me. If my insurance co. CAN get space on a plane and a nurse to fly me, I can go home at the end of this week!"

Now that is what I call superhuman recovery and determination. Anyone who reckons this man can't achieve what he want to achieve is off their head!

latest text from Shaun..

"When I go back to New Zealand it is straight back to hospital, not my own home mate, and I probably will not be walking for 3 months according to my Doctor, Toby Branfoot (who is *** excellent at fixing bones) Cheers again dude"

Shaun is waiting for clearance to fly from his Insurance company...could be anytime soon

He says he can't wait to get at his wireless laptop to communicate properly with everyone......

He has had company today and again tomorrow. Gail and Helen travelled over to Leeds this morning to catch up with Shaun and his family before they head back to New Zealand, which could be sometime fairly soon. While there today they also met up with Garry Dickinson, someone else who has had more than his fair share of injury problems of late.

Hi Shaun,

I will be taking all of this inspiration with me to my scan today.

You are a legend.

If you DO go to live in the Island, dont tell Pamela.
She would love to move there.

Cheers mate.

She's a star, Shaun. How she managed to remain completely dry while we were all wet is mystifying...Lol!
Seriously, she and Petra are great, and we are looking forward to the day you all return to the Island.
Safe journey home. I'm sure you must be ready for the sights, sounds and smells of your home country by now. There are lots of people there eager to see you and catch up.
Keep in touch.. we won't forget you.
