I note in two or three of the Daily Rags journalists making the comment "What are the public going to do/see in Summer 2008 now that England is out of the football"

One or two options were put forward, sports which are as exciting as watching spit on a window... No one mentioned OUR favourite sport, the untainted, unscripted, clean, TT where one does NOT get money for old rope..

I must be one of hundreds who are glad to see us out of this level of football for a while, the demise of a two-dimensional, no-original-ideas manager and a team which has no get-up-and-go and consisted of no hopers.

We need someone of the attitude and ilk of Bob McMillan or Barry Symmons to start a team from scratch again.

Well said Ian, now all we need is someone to get the ear of the media so that the ex-footie punters get hooked on the lead up to the TT, not forgetting the pre TT NW200.
