Best 2007 memories
What will be your best memories of 2007?
One of mine is the night at Rosie's raising money for the MGPSC and to help Shaun's family. During the evening, we rang Shaun in hospital, where he had not long regained consciousness. He spoke to us, and we put the mike up to the phone so everyone could hear him. He was as clear and lucid as if he had been on the podium! You could have heard a pin drop.
From a time where I thought we'd not see him again, he has now recovered almost completely. Well done, Toby Branfoot, Shaun and all the amazing medical people... and FEE!
Here's to a season where we don't need to visit the hospital!

Best memory; sitting outside our tent in Kirkmichael with the Centenary TT in full swing, 7.30 am on Friday of Practice Week, having to apply factor 25 and thinking; "Does it get any better than this".

Worst memory; Mad Sunday crawl over the mountain in November style weather and thinking; "Does it get any worse than this". That's the IOM I guess, one day the Algarve next the Arctic!

Roll on May 2008, alf

Didn't manage the Island this year, but I'll go along with Dave and plum for Kells - magic circuit and has to be one of the best run meetings, oodles of races and just massive Irish craic

If you fancy an Irish meeting next year, you can't do better than Kells!

1. Seeing Hilary back at the annual MGP "Do" at our place after all she'd been through.
2. Hearing that Shaun was recovering after his little adventure
3. A heron being captured on the racing line at Ballabeg Hairpin by a superman marshal (proving that they're not just at Gorse Lea) who imprisoned it in a portaloo (an in convenience?) for the remainder of the evening's S100 races.

One of MY favourite moments of 2007 was finally
getting to Norn Irn to see some road racing at
the Cookstown 100.
This was thanks to the wonderful Cargo.
He fixed flights, booked B n B, gave us a guided
tour AND loaned us his car.

Thank you my our special friend

Thanks also to the friendly folk of Norn Irn
