TT 08 Ducati parade
I am looking for the 1981 F2 Ducati that I built for Tony Rutter. It is part of TT & Ducati racing history and should really be in the Ducati parade on June 6th. Identifying features of the machine are : Maxton modified Ducati Pantah frame with upright rear Koni suspension units, Dymag wheels, Marzochi forks, the engine had Gardner flat slides.
If anybody knows where this machine now is please will they let me know.

Is this the only parade this year?

It should be a good one!

Will anyone ride a recent MotoGp model?

Now THAT would be special

RE: TT 08 Ducati parade
Hi,

As far as I know this is the only parade. Ducati are bringing from their musuem a number of bikes including, the 125 cc Desmo racer, and the 250cc Desmo racer ( Ex Hailwood), and the 78 Hailwood ( Replica) F1 machine, the original one lives in New York. I believe they will be bringing some " modern" (racing) machines. With all these wonderfull machines it is so important I find the 81 F2 (Rutter) machine. We know where the 83 F2 TT winning machine is but I doubt if it will be at the TT !!.

Wonder if Paul Smart will be here to ride his Imola-winning 750?

Yes, I believe that Paul Smart's 750 Imola winning machine will be there together with one of Foggys bikes and Stoners.
