Road Racing Ireland are reporting in their March edition that discussions are underway to establish a road racing championship featuring the 3 Internationals i.e. NW 200, TT and UGP.

Noel Johnston is quoted, "I have spoken to Paul Phillips (TT) and Mervyn White (NW 200) about a 3 round championship between the internationals based on a points system and an overall prize fund. It has been agreed on (in) principle, the finer details just have to be ironed out, so it's definitely going to happen, just watch this space."

Can anyone shed any further light on this interesting development?

I think I've read something about this however it was for 250s I think

Thanks Cargo, I've re-read the column in the mag and you could be right, 250's only, still a great initiative I think.
