RE: Guy Martin
My 10 year old grandson is his biggest fan, and I am delighted. Guy treats him as an equal and Jake loves him. Could have much worse role models!
Every year we do a T-shirt, so I am looking for a suitable Guy quote for this year's. We used to do them for the Southern, but last year did them for the TT, and Shaun (team owner) wanted one... didn't get one!
I did one for Guy , one each for Jake, Louise and Mary, and a spare which was auctioned off on the EMP bus!
Might do a few this year and sell them for charity, signed by the boy, if I can stop him long enough.
Hmmm... "nithering"??? or any suggestions... last year's was "When I grow up I want to be a scruffy truck fitter"... Guy had described himself as "a scruffy Truck fitter" in Irish Racer!Yahoo

Did you see Guy Martin in one of the Daily Papers with him trying out some new BLOW UP Leathers (must be a joke there) which activate to protect the neck should he fall off....

Shame I didn't cut the piece out of the paper, but the library would have been very angry !!

Any copies out there ???
