ancient Wrote:NOT SURE IF I HAVE EXPLAINED WHAT IM LOOKING FOR.ITS WHERE EVER THE TIMES ARE TAKEN FOR THE SPEEDS GIVEN ON THE MANX GRAND PRIX SITE,,AS I HAVE SOME FOR 1960 ON SULBY,,SLOWER ENTRY THROUGH QUARRY BENDS BUT I THINK HAILWOOD WAS AROUND 140 ON A NORTON BY BILL LACEY,WILL PUT THEM ON IF I CAN FIND IT,,

Dad went through at 149 in the race and I think he was the fastest classic. The classics' were generally between 120 and 145 for a 500 and 110 and 130 for the 350's.

The modern 750's were doing 170 ish.

If that helps at all?
