Here are a few so take your pick lol :-

A splodge - great sound for this lot especially
A munch - in reference to the amount of burgers they all get through...... not Jo though ...
A confusion - cause you are never sure of which one of the thousands are actually working .... lol
A rainbow - due the various colours they all wear, from Orange to blue
A pension - due to the age of a few of them especially my old man lol (please don't tell him)
A minagerie - Wild they are and need to be enclosed ... lol
So how about those few to keep you going Jo .... he he he from all the Timekeepers lol
When people say one thing and mean another its called politics, when organisers say one thing and mean another its called a mistake, when the ACU say one thing and mean another its called information.

No, you're wrong there - it's a confusion of ACU officials.....

How about:

A snap of photographers

A watch of timekeepers

A scout of scorers

A shower of weathermen

A thicket of Formula 1/Moto GP fans (delete as you wish)

A sheriff of marshals

A toolbox of spannermen

A ride of competitors (think Lord of the Rings...)

and, of course, not forgetting: an asylum of slidecars..

Methinks I'll have to leave the country again after these.........
....scone out to take photos!

Arrrr but boakesey I mentioned the word WORK so there is no doubt it has no connection what so ever with any ACU official

I'm liking the pension one!!

Although I can inform you that the average age of a scrutineer has actually dropped (for the first time in history) to a mere 52 years and 7 months. Of course I help out enormously in reaching that figure!

So long as it isn't catching - not sure I'd suit a silver beard!

I've been given a suggestion of a regulation of scrutineers?

My housemate has just suggested a mallow of marshals.

I've sent him to bed!

For the first time ever, we didn't bother to take a team photo this year.

However, here's a more recent one and I'm pleased to say that the silver beard does not seem to be catching!
