I never had a hero in my life but I've admired lots of people, many of whom I would have felt privileged and blessed to emulate. Then along came my Hero, Joey Dunlop. It's not just his superlative racing prowess, It's the fact that a man held in such high esteem was so humble. He asked for so little but gave so much, he gave from the heart. He will never be St. Joey, but I can't think anyone who will sit closer to God.
I've never met him but I aim to, but not just yet.
