I'm going to the TT again this year and I'm thinking of going to the Manx or Classic in August. Amy ideas anybody what is the best to book? Thanks 👍

Manx is easy to book, nowhere near the furore of the TT.

I've always taken a bike across to the TT but this year, I'm not. I've had enough of the traffic, the continuous mountain closures when I'm trying to get a lap in etc etc. I'm having a few days on foot and looking forward to the ease of it.

The manx on the other hand, I go for nearly a fortnight, I get laps in and lots of riding. The watching is better (much less crowded), the riding is better (much less traffic).

The manx has a much less frantic feel about it.

But, i still need a TT fix for a few days.... It's a bug I've had since 1986.

Out of the two events though, I prefer the manx.

As a regular TT visitor since 1976, a MGP visitor since 1980 and a classic TT visitor since 2013 I love them all equally

The TT is the ultimate

The MGP is lovely

The Classic TT is sublime

You pay your money and take you choice - or in my case, I pay my money and do all three!

Each has it's pros and cons but each offers a great experience

Try them all

And remember, if you don't do it this year, you'll be another year older before you do
