Reigning MCE British Superbike champion Tommy Hill continued to assert his authority in this morning's warm up session ahead of today's two races at Oulton Park after the Swan Yamaha rider edged out Michael Laverty and Noriyuki Haga.

Hill and Laverty swapped positions at the top of the times throughout the 15 minute session whilst his team-mate Noriyuki Haga pushed on to third in the closing stages after his podium finish yesterday. Rapid Solicitors Kawasaki's Shane 'Shakey' Byrne was fourth with Josh Brookes dropping to fifth in the final minutes.

Ian Lowry moved up the order in sixth ahead of Alex Lowes who is aiming to make amends following his crash in the opening race yesterday with Tommy Bridewell, Stuart Easton and Luca Scassa completing the top ten.
