New Class required
There will need to be new classes instituted for Fuel Cell bikes in the future.
This will pose problems for officials and scrutineers in how to set power classes and how to check the output.
Safety of hydrogen tanks may also be an issue.
Interestingly a Briton invented the process so we cannot blame anyone else when the fateful day comes.
Spectators will also have to adapt to watching silent bikes whistle past with only the smell of hot water to excite their nostrils.

Re: New Class required
Very nice Don, it would be interesting to watch the Pit Stops during long races. Maybe some riders will cheat and carry a small pack of "AA" cells, concealed somewhere, to keep going a bit longer!!!!!!!!!!

Re: New Class required
PS If they ran short of water, would the rider be allowed to pee in the tank, as I have to with my Hi Tech acetylene lights?

Re: New Class required
That would "generate" a new meaning to the radio commentator's phrase, "He's putting on a late charge."
