Liverpool 26th may sailing
Hi all. Just a heads up.
Liverpool FC will be touring the streets of Liverpool with there league trophy. The procession finishes round the liver buildings.
From what iv see there will be a lot of disruption streets closed ect.
It will definitely make it more difficult to get to the port. The new port shouldn't be as badly effected as the old one as it's further away from the town centre.
I will be leaving extra early for my dinner time sailing. I suggest anyone on that sailing looks at a more round about route to the port .

Get there by going through Bootle and avoid the city centre and Queens Drive.

That's was my thoughts. Enter Liverpool by the M57. I'm told it starts at 2.30 in Leeds street which is right next to the ferry terminal. But the ferry leaves at 11.45 I think so should miss the crowds . Although fans will start to gather for early doors .

The bus will set off from Allerton Maze at 14:30 BST on Monday 26 May before travelling along a nine-mile (15km) route including Queens Drive and The Strand before finishing on Blundell Street.
