Milntown / Gardeners Lane area is a good place to view, recall it's vehicle accessible on closed roads too as i've been sent from Parliament Sq to Gardeners Lane in Response Car after roads closed, think there's a gate which is only open for TT and MGP

School house corner is a good spot. But your locked in so take some food with you as there no where to get anything.
The house at signpost is also a goot spot. Small donation to air ambulance. There do sandwiches tea and some very nice cakes. It's easy to find

It's been a while since we went to Stella Maris, it was a bit like Signpost,
it was someones garden & they had tea/coffee. sandwiches & cakes,
money went to helicopter fund (or similar)
It may have changed by now, tho'.
Signpost is good for the hospitality, the small collection of Martin Bullocks bikes & I'm sure you can leave when the roads are closed, parking round the back of the house.

To get to inside Hairpin: If roads are open, park in central Ramsey and walk uphill May Hill. Take to the left at Lheaney Road to the right at Crescent Road and right again at Crescent West till its end and you are there! If the roads are closed: Take A2 from Douglas through Laxey. When you approach Ramsey there is a path called Claughbane Walk to the left just before the railroad crossing. That walk leads straight to Ramsey Hairpin. No refreshments or toilets. Very limited parking. I believe that it is still working. Last time checked in 2022. A quote from my "TT course knowledge". Here it is: http://siljasttknowledge.blogspot.com/
Don't be that optimistic! The light in the tunnel can be a train. Sad
